Tonight we went to our neighbors’ house for a neighborhood taco party. About 5 families were there, all with our kids, husband, and wives, easily tallying 20 people. It was so nice to have a low-key night not having to cook and catching up with our good friends. This summer has just flown by. I feel like there have been so few times that we have been able to get together with our neighborhood friends, and having a night like tonight was well overdue.
The food was absolutely delicious, our friend Wil never disappoints; he is a fantastic cook. I got the recipe for his amazing chicken marinade – I found the herb blend he used in the grocery store, and I cannot wait to try it!
