Andrew and I love to camp and hike. While we always appreciated hiking and the outdoors, we made it a life goal to see as many national parks as we can after seeing the Grand Canyon years ago. We have added a handful of parks to our list, including ones in Alaska, and we are so excited to share this love with our boys. Our hope is that we will spend our summers exploring the country hiking and camping as a family.
We received our REI dividend recently, and we decided to buy a sleeping bag for Will with it. It arrived in the mail over the weekend, and he’s been obsessed with it ever since, even taking naps in it. We’re going to start small, setting up our tent in the backyard, with the hope that maybe we can try our first overnight experience in a campground this summer.
